Collaboration & Strategic Relationships. Nothing is done in isolation, especially one’s career. Our office focuses on building strategic relationships on and off campus to provide connections and support for students beyond CGU.
Education. We value education both in how we develop and execute our program and in our students. We recognize our students are highly educated and look for opportunities and connections that value education.

Commitment to Anti-Racism
- Increase professional development to provide knowledge of anti-racism practices in the workplace.
- Enhance resources for students who have experienced systemic workplace discrimination. Provide anti-racist resources for allies.
- Expand the Culturally Competent Leader workshop and make cultural competence an essential component of core programming.
- Blog posts addressing issues of discrimination in the workplace and presenting best practices to avoid bias in hiring and creating an antiracist workplace.
- Develop partnerships with employers who value and embody social justice, equity and anti-racism in the workplace.
