-The Payroll Specialist manages biweekly and monthly payroll processing, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with wage and hour regulations.

-Review and audit timekeeping records, resolve discrepancies, and process payroll adjustments and retro pay.

-Support employees and managers with payroll and timekeeping inquiries, including Workday access and reporting.

-Maintain and update employee payroll records in Workday, including job changes, compensation, and direct deposit.

-Prepare payroll reports, support audits, and provide payroll training and communications.

-Assist with onboarding, employee records management, and administrative support as needed.

 

HR Coordinator

-The Human Resources Coordinator supports comprehensive, end-to-end HR operations, managing the full employment cycle for students, faculty, staff, and adjuncts from hiring through separation, including onboarding, position and compensation changes, and required training through OPTUM and VectorSolutions Learning Management System (LMS).

-Serve as the primary point of contact for employee support areas including workers’ compensation, leaves of absence, tuition remission, and general HR inquiries.

-Advises on employment eligibility and tax treaty-related questions for international students and coordinates with campus partners regarding student employment policies and processes.

-The role also serves as backup support for payroll to ensure continuity and timely issue resolution, processes unemployment insurance inquiries, and completes employment verifications.

-With a focus on data integrity and compliance, the HR Coordinator ensures accurate records and supports audits and institutional reporting needs.

-Support benefits coordination in partnership with TCCS, assisting employees with benefits questions and navigation.

-Facilitate orientation for all new hires, ensuring employees receive essential information, resources, and training at the start of employment.

-Coordinate approved job postings and support departments throughout the recruitment lifecycle.
