OIT has also been working on several behind-the-scenes improvements that support reliability, security, and the overall user experience at CGU. Three key areas that have seen improvements in recent months include: 

PeopleSoft Upgrades:

The PeopleSoft student information system was recently upgraded. These improvements strengthen system reliability, improve system management, and support future enhancements.

Wireless and Wired Networking improvements:

OIT continues to improve CGU’s network environment through equipment upgrades and network optimization. These efforts are intended to provide a faster, more reliable experience across campus and in collaboration with The Claremont Colleges.

Canvas Features Improvements:

OIT has been updating Canvas by integrating new tools, including accessibility-related features, while retiring legacy tools that no longer provide the best user experience.
