The Transdisciplinary STEAM+ Journal creates a space for sharing and promoting transdisciplinary boundary crossing work in arts integration.

Having begun as a STEAM journal in 2013, founded by graduate scholar (and now alumna) Sara Kapadia, Ph.D., we relaunched the Journal in 2025 as STEAM+, expanding arts integration beyond STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Math) to include Social Sciences and the Humanities.

The STEAM+ Journal
invites artists, scientists, educators, field professionals, and young voices (K12- Undergraduate) to submit work. We accept art and other creative work (from poetry to multi-modal, multi-media, performance etc.), research articles, lesson plans, blog-style reflection and op-eds, and reviews of arts integration books and websites that examine and showcase arts integration into other disciplines and world-community applications.
