Eric (pronouns: he/him), is currently pursuing a PhD in Cultural Studies.

A native of Colombia, Eric has completed the coursework in the program and is preparing for qualification exams. He also works as an Archive Assistant in the Digital Strategies and Scholarship offices of The Claremont Colleges Library.

Eric’s recent Spring 2021 public history and digital humanities exhibits can be found in the Special Collections of The Claremont Colleges Library. His research and oral history on Tongan Americans in the Inland Empire is archived in the Claremont Colleges Oral History Collection. Eric wrote and curated two Omeka exhibit pages for the digital archive titled “East of East: Mapping Community Narratives in South El Monte and El Monte” that is housed in the Claremont Colleges Digital Library (CCDL).

From Fall 2019 to Fall 2021 Eric produced the CGU podcast Latinx in the Inland Empire.

Eric enjoys spending time in nature with his spouse, his four nephews and nieces and his corgi.
