The Office of Student Life, Diversity & Leadership (SLDL) at Claremont Graduate University recognizes that diversity is integral to the achievement of excellence. We work closely with student groups that represent different backgrounds, interests, and experiences to cultivate an inclusive community for all our students. We encourage students to get involved in clubs and organizations on campus where they will have the chance to engage outside of the classroom.

We focus on creating programs geared toward academic success, peer mentoring, and enrichment opportunities for professional, personal, and leadership development allowing students to expand their individual networks. We also work collaboratively with the constituents at The Claremont Colleges Services (TCCS) to provide a supportive space for students, faculty, and staff from underrepresented groups. We work hard to spread awareness while simultaneously advocating for social justice by addressing the unwanted presence of oppressive conditions and aim to institutionalize our policies of equity throughout the entire Claremont community.

Our office also works closely with all international prospective, current, and graduating students to provide the services and resources necessary to make their time abroad successful.
