We’re excited to have you join the Claremont Graduate University (CGU) community in Spring. Spring 2026 New Student Orientation will be held on Friday, January 16, 2026. The event starts with a New Student Breakfast and ends in your department session. This event will help familiarize you with CGU resources, your academic department, your new peers, and our beautiful campus.
Students who need accommodations to attend or participate in any orientation session should contact the Office of Disability Services at disability.services@cgu.edu as soon as possible.

New F-1 and J-1 students are required to attend this session to learn about student visa requirements, international insurance, and other resources.

Student Identification
CGU ID CARD
All students are required to have a CGU student ID Card. The Claremont Colleges Services Connection provides ID card services for all Claremont Colleges students. There is no charge for your initial ID Card and students will have the ability to pick their ID’s up during the first 2 hours of the New Student Welcome event.
