Welcome to CGU!

We’re excited to have you join the Claremont Graduate University (CGU) community this fall. Fall 2022 New Student Orientation is a multi-day event that will help familiarize you with CGU resources, your academic department, your new peers, and our beautiful campus.

Get to know the resources available to you as a graduate student at CGU. You’ll have four sessions to choose from to attend virtually.

Meet faculty, staff, and other students from your academic department and learn more about requirements for your program.

International Student Orientation
New F-1 and J-1 students are required to attend this session to learn about student visa requirements, international insurance, and other resources.

On-Campus New Student Welcome
Enjoy breakfast with faculty and meet representatives from offices across CGU and the Claremont Colleges. Attendees can also choose to attend one of several in-person resource sessions and take a campus tour.
