Originally from the San Francisco Bay Area, Mounika Aavula currently is a dual M.B.A and M.P.H student at CGU. With a background in Health Sciences and a no limit perspective, she reimagined her career during the Covid-19 pandemic. Today Mounika is focusing on the administrative practice and journey where she can focus on global perspectives outside of a clinician’s realm. She is interested in incorporating her management practices for a private healthcare organization.

This January she attended the Los Angeles Global Health Conference hosted at U.C.L.A. The theme of this year’s conference is health equity and providing care for all patients. She was humbled as an independent graduate student with her own health insurance aware that financial protection is central to a more socially just health practice. As a health advocate for equity, she is interested in telehealth’s possibilities for offering services to remote populations and vulnerable patients.

Mounika expects to walk at commencement in 2024. We’re proud to call her a future leader.
