Aga Khan Foundation, International Scholarship Programme (March 31 Deadline)
The Aga Khan Foundation’s International Scholarship Programme (AKF ISP) is an opportunity for outstanding scholars from selected countries*, who have no other means of financing their studies, to pursue postgraduate education. AKF ISP awards are structured as half grant and half loan – where you need to repay 50 percent of the award amount. Paul & Daisy Soros Fellowships annually supports recently naturalized U.S. citizens for up to two years of graduate study in any field and in any advanced degree-granting program in the U.S. Each Fellow receives up to $90,000 in financial support over two years, and they join the community of New American Fellows. To be eligible, your birth parents must have both been born outside of the US as non-US citizens, and both parents must not have been eligible for US citizenship at the time of their respective births*. Toigo MBA Fellowship is a leadership program for minority MBA candidates committed to careers in finance. As a two-year program that runs concurrent with your MBA, the Toigo MBA Program curriculum is designed to align with a two-year MBA experience, commencing in the fall and with a summer internship in between the two years. Yale LGBT Studies Research Fellowship supports scholars from any field pursuing research in lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, and/or queer studies at Yale University, utilizing the vast faculty resources, manuscript archives, and library collections available at Yale. The American Legion Legacy Scholarship is a needs-based scholarship designed to provide financial assistance to children of U.S. military members who died while on active duty on or after September 11, 2001, and Children of post-9/11 veterans having been assigned a combined disability rating of 50 percent or greater by the Department of Veterans Affairs. BVA’s Kathern F. Gruber scholarships are available to spouses, dependent children, and grandchildren of blind and low-vision veterans to assist them with their higher education tuition. Disabled Person, Inc. announces Spring 2024 National Scholarship Competition for College Students with Disabilities for the award of $2,000. The Elizabeth Nash Foundation Scholarship (April 15 Deadline)
The Elizabeth Nash Foundation awards scholarships to assist persons with Cystic Fibrosis (CF) to pursue undergraduate and graduate degrees. The scholarship program is open to individuals with CF who are undergraduate or graduate students at an accredited US-based college or university. Grants range from $1,000 to $2,500 and are made directly to the academic institution to help cover tuition and fees. Grants are made for one year; however, individuals are encouraged to re-apply for subsequent years. The program is currently only open to US citizens. Gallaudet University, Graduate Fellowship Fund (May 10 Deadline)
The Graduate Fellowship Fund (GFF) provides financial assistance to deaf and hard of hearing graduates of accredited colleges and universities who are studying full-time in terminal degree programs. The applicant must have been accepted into a terminal degree program at an accredited college or university. National Federation of the Blind (NFB), NFB Scholarship Program (March 31 Deadline)
The largest of its kind in the nation, the National Federation of the Blind’s annual scholarship program offers 30 merit-based scholarships, ranging from $3,000 to $12,000 each year. Applicants must be legally blind (PDF) in both eyes, be residing in the United States, the District of Columbia, or Puerto Rico and be 18 years of age by July 3, 2024. Students With Heart Foundation Scholarship (October 1 Deadline) The mission of Students With Heart Foundation is to provide financial assistance by means of scholarships for students who suffer from all different types of heart disease and deformities, thus relieving some of the stress from the rough and rigorous stress they will face throughout their education. UCB Family Epilepsy Scholarship Program (April 6 Deadline)
UCB will award 30 scholarships of up to $5,000 and 3 scholarships of up to $10,000 to people living with epilepsy, their family members, and caregivers pursuing higher education.
