American Educational Research Association (AERA), AERA Minority Dissertation Fellowship in Educational Research (November Deadline)
The American Educational Research Association (AERA) is pleased to announce the AERA Minority Dissertation Fellowship in Educational Research. The Council of the AERA established the fellowship program to provide support for doctoral dissertation research, to advance education research by outstanding minority graduate students, and to improve the quality and diversity of university faculties. This fellowship is targeted for members of racial and ethnic groups historically underrepresented in higher education. American Psychological Foundation, Kenneth B. and Mamie P. Clark Fund (June Deadline)
The Kenneth B. and Mamie P. Clark Fund supports research and demonstrative activities that promote the relationship between self-identity and academic achievement with an emphasis on children in grade levels K-8. The Kenneth B. and Mamie P. Clark fund was established in 2003 to honor the Clarks and to perpetuate their work as pioneers in understanding the psychological underpinnings of race relations and in addressing social issues such as segregation and injustice. International Research Foundation (TIRF) for English Language, Doctoral Dissertation Grants (April Deadline)
Since 2002, TIRF has supported students completing their doctoral research on topics related to the foundation’s priorities. Each year, applicants who have been advanced to candidacy in legitimate PhD or EdD programs are invited to submit proposals for Doctoral Dissertation Grants (DDGs). The Organization for Autism Research, Graduate Research Grant Program (February Deadline)
Established in 2004, the grant program is intended to encourage and support students conducting research pursuant to graduate and postgraduate studies in disciplines related to assessment, intervention, and support of learners with autism spectrum disorders and their families. Teacher Education Assistance for College and Higher Education (TEACH) (Rolling Application; Through Financial Aid Office)
The TEACH Grant Program provides grants of up to $4,000 a year to students who are completing or plan to complete coursework needed to begin a career in teaching. As a condition for receiving a TEACH Grant, you must sign a TEACH Grant Agreement to serve in a high-need field or an elementary school or secondary school that serves low-income families for a period of four complete academic years. The PDK Educational Foundation, Phi Delta Kappa International Graduate Fellowship (June Deadline)
The PDK Educational Foundation endowed scholarship program supports students who are pursuing advanced degrees in education at the masters, specialist, and doctoral levels. University of South Carolina, Paul P. Fidler Research Grant (July Deadline)
The Paul P. Fidler Research Grant is designed to encourage the development and dissemination of knowledge that has the potential to improve the experiences of college students in transition. The Paul P. Fidler Research Grant is open to faculty, staff, and graduate students who plan to conduct research on issues of college student transitions. The Grant award includes a cash stipend, travel to two national conferences, a presentation at a national conference, and priority consideration for publication.
