Program Overview

The Federal Work Study Program (FWS) at Claremont Graduate University provides part-time employment for eligible students. Federal Work Study is a need-based program designed to assist students in meeting their educational costs while enrolled at CGU by providing employment opportunities both on and off-campus. Hourly pay rates vary depending upon the individual employer and the type of work performed. Receiving a work-study award does not guarantee employment. Awarded students are eligible to interview for available positions. Current listings of open positions are posted in Handshake. Most work-study positions are located on-campus, although there are also opportunities within the greater Claremont Colleges community and off-campus.
