The Aga Khan Foundation provides a limited number of scholarships each year for postgraduate studies to outstanding students from select developing countries who have no other means of financing their studies, in order to develop effective scholars and leaders and to prepare them for employment. International fellowships, in the amount of $18,000, are awarded for full-time study in the United States to women who are not U.S. citizens or permanent residents. Offered annually, the Albert W. Dent Graduate Student Scholarship is designated for minority students enrolled in their final year of healthcare management graduate program to help offset tuition costs, student loans and expenses. The AIEF program now offers competitive graduate scholarships to eligible American Indian/Alaska Native/Native Hawaiian students pursuing a Masters or Doctoral degree. To promote the general welfare and culture of the Chickasaw people by supporting educational, health, historical and community activities and programs. All scholarship funding begins with each fall semester and is dependent upon the availability of funding. The Scholarship Foundation Program is a competitive based scholarship program for Muscogee (Creek) citizens enrolled as full-time students at an accredited institution of higher education.
