Friday, January 17, 2025, 3:00pm-4:00pm PST.

Claremont Graduate University welcomes international students from all over the world. Representing more than 60 countries, CGU’s international students add to the diversity, culture, and scholarship of the university.

The Office of Student Life, Diversity & Leadership (SLDL) will host a hybrid International Student Orientation on Friday, January 17, 2025 from 3:00pm to 4:00pm. New F-1 and J-1 students are required to attend this session to learn about student visa requirements, international insurance, and other resources.

Registration will open soon!

Students who need accommodations to attend or participate in any orientation session should contact the Office of Disability Services at disability.services@cgu.edu as soon as possible.

International students on an active SEVIS record are required to attend International Orientation and check in with a SLDL staff member. Important information will be shared related to requirements for international students, updates on current government exceptions, and international insurance. This is an important time to meet your international advisors at CGU as well as ask questions.

Those students beginning their programs from outside the U.S., and who are not yet on a student visa, are also welcome to attend but it is not required.

We look forward to meeting you as you start your CGU journey!
