THRIVE: Graduate Scholars of Color
The THRIVE: Graduate Scholars of Color Program is designed to ensure that throughout the graduate school experience, graduate scholars of color are surrounded by a community of support, from staff across campus, faculty and student peers. Further, it will provide opportunities to engage in community-building activities, meaningful conversations, workshops and events that are Black, Indigenous and People of Color centered, queer and trans affirming, and open to scholars of all abilities and bodies.
Through intentional programming, THRIVE seeks to:
- Foster a more inclusive academic and co-curricular experience for graduate scholars of color
- Build community for graduate scholars of color
- Support graduate scholars of color in their scholarly and academic pursuits
- Support graduate scholars of color success to persist and advance in their graduate studies
