Marclem Hernandez, M.Ed.

Marclem Hernandez (he/him) serves as the Assistant Director of Admissions at Claremont Graduate University, where he assumes responsibility for managing the admissions and recruitment processes of the Center for Information Systems and Technology, the Institute of Mathematical Sciences, and the Master of Arts in Leadership program offered by the Drucker School of Management and the School of Social Science, Policy & Evaluation. 

Prior to his current role, Marclem gained valuable professional experience at MGM Resort International, a prominent hospitality organization. Additionally, he completed an internship with the Nevada Secretary of State’s Office during his undergraduate studies. Marclem’s career in higher education began at UNLV, where he held the positions of Special Assistant to the President and Deputy Director of Operations. In these capacities, he provided invaluable support to the university president, spearheaded significant projects, and facilitated the achievement of organizational objectives. Marclem adeptly represented the office to external partners and various constituents. 

Marclem’s educational background includes a Bachelor of Arts degree in Criminal Justice with a minor in Psychology from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas. Furthermore, he holds a Master of Education degree in Higher Education Administration, which he earned from Georgia Southern University.
