The Graduate Student Council (GSC) promotes the welfare and concerns of the graduate student body and communicates with CGU faculty and administration on behalf of students.
Consisting of elected officers, representatives, delegates, and volunteers from various academic programs and departments, the GSC sponsors social and cultural events throughout the year to improve quality of life for graduate students. All CGU students are encouraged to get involved.

Steve Flores
Steve Flores (he/él) is a proud son of immigrants and a first-generation Latino Ph.D. student in the School of Educational Studies at Claremont Graduate University. His research interests explore the Latinx college student experience as it intersects with college access and persistence in higher education.

Marclem Hernandez
Marclem Hernandez (he/him) is a Ph.D. student in the School of Educational Studies and serves as the Assistant Director of Admissions at CGU, managing the admissions and recruitment processes of the Center for Information Systems and Technology, the Institute of Mathematical Sciences, and the Master of Arts in Leadership program.

Vaishnavi Mansabdar (she/her) is an international student from Mumbai, India, and is currently pursuing her Doctor of Public Health (DrPH) in Leadership and Management at Claremont Graduate University, specializing in Healthcare Policies and Community-Based Translational Research.

Oscar Guerrero
Oscar Guerrero (He/they/él) is a Salvadoran first-generation Cultural Studies MA candidate, in the School of Arts and Humanities at Claremont Graduate University. His research emphasizes Museum Studies, Latinx Studies, Decolonial Politics, and Immigration Studies, all through a transdisciplinary lens.
