Bar Talk [Bär · tôk] is an informal conversation about how individuals in the Claremont community have taken creative practice out into the world, and how and what academic communities can learn from that experience. Produced by the Transdisciplinary Studies Program at CGU, this cocktail hour and salon features Mark Allen, associate professor of art at Pomona College; Kareem Collie, creative director of The Hive at The Claremont Colleges; and Kate Gale, a writer, poet, librettist, and independent publisher.
The panel will be moderated by Lori Anne Ferrell, John D. and Lillian Maguire Distinguished Professor in the Humanities at CGU, and David Pagel, professor of art theory and history at CGU.
