Requirements for Check-In
SEVIS Check-in is mandatory once you arrive to Claremont. Students on an F-1 or J-1 visa are encouraged to check-in during New Student Orientation.
If you were not able to attend New Student Orientation, please schedule a one-on-one appointment with a SLDL staff member. To schedule an appointment, email us at international@cgu.edu or select an appointment time with one of the SLDL International Advisors.
All newly attending international students must bring their passport, and visa (F or J). If meeting virtually, a copy of the passport and visa should be emailed directly to the SLDL Office at international@cgu.edu.
A form used by U.S. Customs and Border Protection intended to keep track of the arrival and departure to/from the United States. Bring a copy of your I-94 to the check-in session. To access your I-94, visit USCIS’ website.
All students are required to submit the Medical History Report directly to the American DataBank Upload Portal at http://cgucompliance.com/.
CGU requires that all students review the list of required and recommended immunizations and vaccinations prior to arrival in the United States. For more information on required and recommended immunizations, please visit the MyCGU Health Insurance & Immunizations page.
CGU requires that all international students are covered by an insurance policy. All registered F-1 and J-1 international students are automatically enrolled in the International Accident and Sickness plan. Visit the MyCGU Health Insurance page for details on the university plan, coverages, and waiver options.
