Beginning spring semester 2012 the School of Arts & Humanities will institute a new policy which requires all students to receive academic advising each semester, including the summer session, before registration for classes is possible. Once academic advisement has been completed, faculty advisors and department staff will release the hold. Students can also receive a PIN number that will allow them to release the hold via the portal upon completion of academic advisement.

Department users who have the proper security privileges will be allowed to release holds on stduents’ records as necessary by navigating the following link:

Main Menu > Campus Community > Service Indicators (Student) > Manage Service Indicators

Select the DPT Service indicator code.

Click on the DPT Code which will take you to the following page.

Select button to remove the hold from the student’s academic record. Then click ok to complete the release.
